In PoE, every Ascendancy class is a very powerful candidate for end-game content, and each has its own distinct playstyles and builds to cater for.

 

The Inquisitor class is one of those Ascendancy classes, and this specialized profession is mostly underappreciated due to its reliance on Elemental Damages and effects which can be complicated to build effectively upon at times.

 

However, if played correctly, an Inquisitor can be as devastating as the Necromancer itself, even if you do not have any allies to back you up throughout the map.

 

Here are all the Inquisitor’s Ascendancy Skills which are available in the game right now:

 

FIRST TIER

 

· Elemental Damage, Attack and Cast Speed

o 10% Increased Elemental Damage

o 4% Increased Attack and Cast Speed

 

· Elemental Damage, Critical Strike Multiplier

o 10% Increased Elemental Damage

o +10% Critical Strike Multiplier

 

· Elemental Damage, Elemental Resistances

o 10% Increased Elemental Damage

o +6% to all Elemental Resistances

 

· Elemental Damage, Life Regeneration

o 10% Increased Elemental Damage

o Regenerate 0.5% Life per Second

 

SECOND TIER

 

· Instruments of Virtue

o 10% more Attack Damage for each Non-Instant Spell that you’ve casted within the past 8 seconds, up to a maximum of 30%

o Receives Battlemage

 

· Righteous Providence

o 1% Increased Critical Strike Chance per point of Strength or Intelligence, whichever is lower.

o +50 to Strength and Intelligence

 

· Augury of Penitence

o Nearby Enemies take 16% Increased Elemental Damage

o Nearby Enemies deal 8% Less Elemental Damage

 

· Sanctuary

o Consecrated Ground that you create makes affected Enemies receive 15% Increased Damage Taken

o You create Consecrated Ground while stationary

 

THIRD TIER

 

· Elemental Damage, Attack and Cast Speed

o 10% Increased Elemental Damage

o 4% Increased Attack and Cast Speed

 

· Elemental Damage, Critical Strike Multiplier

o 10% Increased Elemental Damage

o +10% Critical Strike Multiplier

 

· Elemental Damage, Life Regeneration

o 10% Increased Elemental Damage

o Regenerate 0.5% Life per Second

 

FOURTH TIER

 

· Instruments of Zeal

o Gain Fanaticism for 4 seconds after reaching Maximum Fanatic Charges

o Gain 1 Fanatic Charge every Second after attacking Enemies

o Lose all Fanatic Charges after reaching Maximum Fanatic Charges

o +4 to Maximum Fanatic Charges

 

· Inevitable Judgement

o Critical Strikes ignore Enemies’ Elemental Resistances

o Non-Critical Strikes penetrate 10% of Enemies’ Elemental Resistances

 

· Pious Path

o Consecrated Ground you create enables Life Regeneration to also recover Energy Shields for you and allies

o Effects of Consecrated Ground linger for 4 seconds

 

The Inquisitor’s abundant Elemental stacks and Damage output could easily destroy both mobs and Bosses at the same time, so underestimate the Inquisitor at your own peril!
